The official tasting notes talk of baked apples and hints of almonds but they do not convey the sublime rich oiliness of this whisky.
The 2021 bottling is limited to just 3600 bottles. The joy of whisky is the history that passes by whilst waiting for it to mature; The year EWC distilled this whisky Prince William get engaged, Cameron become prime minister, Downton Abbey hit the screens, the Iceland volcano caused travel havoc…time has little meaning in the creation of a single malt whisky.
