Rokkosan Distillery, is situated on the highest altitude in Japan and it’s the only whisky distillery in the Kobe area, a. mountainous area with an altitude of about 931m, located in the heart of Kobe City with a population of 1.52 million. The distance between the coastline and the foot of the mountain is only a few kilometers long in Japan. In the nature of Mount Rokko, there stands the Rokkosan Distillery
Rokkosan Distillery, was newly born, the original place was a bare mountain since the long History of Meiji Restoration period. which is amazingly gives visitors serenity and a feeling of calm in a quaint and peaceful atmosphere.
 
 
Rokkosan Pure Malt Whisky SMOKY
 
The aroma is earthy, with a hint of campfire smoke and peat, and the savory malt sweetness and smoky flavours are impressive, with occasional hints of orange peel. The bittersweetness of peat smoke and dark chocolate is followed by a refreshing aftertaste like sea breeze blowing in a port town.
